Some places exist because people come for the surf and the culture first. The hotels are what that ground eventually produces.
Tide & Flow started as a personal problem. Planning surf trips meant cross-referencing Reddit threads, booking platforms that buried the good places, and hotel directories with no lifestyle lens. There was no single place that told you where to stay in Nosara if you surfed in the morning and wanted good yoga in the afternoon and cared about how the room looked. The collection is personally curated — every property assessed by someone who surfs, practises yoga, and has strong opinions about whether a hotel's design feels considered or merely expensive.
Tide & Flow was founded by a lifelong surfer, designer and art director whose work has taken him across major brands like Quiksilver, Apple, Toyota, and Audi.
