Be Tulum
The Michelin Guide listed Be Tulum as the only property on this stretch of Zona Hotelera beach road with a single Michelin Key — a recognition that the architecture earned before the award existed. Sebastian Sas, the Argentinian architect who designed both Be and Nomade next door, built Be first: twenty suites across a property where ground-floor rooms have private pools facing the vegetation and upper-floor rooms have freestanding Jacuzzis. The materials are local limestone, Brazilian wood, and Bisazza tile. The two penthouses face the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. Children under thirteen are not accommodated. Be and Nomade operate as connected properties under the same ownership — Be guests access every ceremony Nomade runs, and Nomade guests eat at Be's kitchen — which means the wellness offering here is broader than twenty suites would suggest.

THE DESIGN
Local limestone, Brazilian wood, Bisazza tiles. Sebastian Sas designed both properties on this stretch of beach and built Be first.
The suites are contemporary-minimalist in a way that respects rather than competes with the jungle setting. Private pools on the ground floor are positioned to face the vegetation. The penthouses, above the treeline, look south toward Sian Ka'an. The design position is restraint in a place where restraint is harder than it looks.

THE YOGA
The shala is in the trees. Be guests have access to every ceremony Nomade runs next door. The two hotels share a wellness programme and a wall.
Daily yoga classes in the on-site shala, surrounded by jungle canopy. The spa runs Mayan clay treatments, hydrotherapy, and traditional healing alongside massage and bodywork. Because Be and Nomade operate as connected properties under the same ownership, Be guests can join Nomade's cacao ceremonies, sound healing, and shaman-led workshops — and Nomade guests eat at Be's kitchen. The wellness offering here is broader than the hotel's twenty suites would suggest.
