Silvestre Nosara
Two London-based surfers spent an extended stay in Nosara with their families — daughters born days apart — and identified a gap that didn't exist anywhere on the Nicoya Peninsula: a hotel that felt like a private house but ran like a hotel. Nine suites, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private outdoor terrace. The name means "wild" — a reference to the Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Ostional, the protected reserve the property sits beside. The co-founders worked with Costas Verdes throughout the build; the trees were kept, the wildlife corridors left intact.

Sustainably sourced materials, handcrafted furniture, Marshall speakers, driftwood coffee tables. The rooftop pool and bar sit above the jungle canopy with views to the Pacific.
