The building is a 1920s landmark given a contemporary treatment: Wearstler's furniture, art, and design details layered through the lobbies and rooms with the specificity of someone who has been collecting and curating long enough to have an actual point of view. The rooftop pool and Calabra restaurant are where the hotel faces the Pacific. Surya Spa runs sound baths, yoga classes, and wellness treatments. The surf lessons and Rapha cycling routes are part of the hotel's programming — not brochure copy but actual standing arrangements.
